Slow Progress

The African Flower runner is progressing slowly... I've not got very far!  I've been a bit busy doing other things, including making a few cards, which I'll show on here once they have been received.

I'm liking it to so far, but definitely need to speed up!  Although I am sewing them together, and sewing the ends in, as I go... so that saves time later I guess!

I have also bought a new canvas picture for the living room, now that I'm adding more girlie touches to the place:

Just need to get it on the wall now!

  1. A great idea to sew them together as you go, I'm not looking forward to sewing my little squares. Yours all look perfectly sized, I think I must be varying my tension as some of my squares are definitely smaller than others!
Lovely print - I like the way the flower is washed out in places yet there is a real intensity to the blue in others.

  3. Crochet is looking good! Im pretty bad about sewing together as I go, but I am now sewing in the ends as I go - thats the worst thing for me!
Picture has an ethereal quality - lovey!

  4. Your flower runner is coming on a treat, with larger crochet projects it's always slow and steady wins the race :0)
Thanks for your comment, you noticed correctly I used some of your buttons to pimp my top ~ thanks again x
