Last month it was my son's 5th birthday - and he's still very interested in anything Spidey related. I had seen lots of very cool 'Hulk Smash' cakes on Pinterest, and used that idea to make one for him.
I made the above toppers using my Cricut Joy machine - I was really pleased how they came out!
This was the finished cake...
I was so happy with it! I've made similar cakes in the past, with the chocolate fingers around the edge and smarties on top - but I love this idea of the edge being broken at the front and the smarties spilling out, due to... a HULK SMASH!
It really is so simple to do, but I think it looks really effective. I added the Hulk and Spidey figures (Spidey's 3rd cake he's featured on!!) and the toppers, and that was it. I think this is one of my favourites that I've made for my children.
Until next time!
