Zipped Make-Up Pouch
Hello! I've finally got round to making a zipped make-up pouch - I've been planning to do it for ages. I carry a little pouch in my handbag for lipstick, lipbalm, etc - and the old one was in desperate need of replacement...
It had been disintegrating into my bag! So, I (eventually) got to work...
I used the big spotty material for the lining as well, and added buttons. Here is the finished item:
I love how colourful it is!
I think it is a big improvement, don't you?!
Thanks for all the lovely comments lately - they are always really appreciated.
I've added a button in my sidebar, to enable followers through bloglovin'. It seems to be the thing everyone is moving to, so I thought I'd make it easier.
Until next time!

Love your new make up purse, bright and cheery, x
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, you will not have to hunt for it I the bottom of your bag it's so bright and cheery! Xx
ReplyDeleteThat is so perfect, Maria! I am the exact same as yourself. I have a tiny makeup bag in my handbag all the time. I stupidly feel more secure thinking that if some of my face comes off, I can easily shlap a bit back on.
ReplyDeleteAdorable, and I can finally get my head around adding a zip to something thanks to your pictures!!! Sewing is not my forte.

p.s. I think I've asked you before - would you happen to have a copy of the May 2012 (issue 12) HandmadeLiving UK magazine? It has a blue and yellow bird feeder on the cover ... {fingers crossed}.
DeleteThanks Alex! I'm afraid I've not got a copy of that magazine, sorry :( I hope you manage to find it. I just did an ebay search and they've got issue 10 and 11, but not 12 - typical! Maybe put in a saved search in case it comes up at some point...
DeleteNo worries Maria! Thank you for looking :) I was featured in issue 12 and have never been able to get a copy or image of the pages. Just thought I'd check!
